IX(B) sqn - Italian Job
The squadron will deploy to Italy to improve fleet interoperability between the RAF and Italian Air Force.
The mission is to enhance our relationship with the Italians and ultimately deliver Agile Combat Employment (ACE) this represents a significant shift in the conduct of operations, whereby aircraft launch, recover, and are maintained from dispersed operating locations in coordination with allies and partners. This approach enhances resilience, complicates adversary planning, and broadens the spectrum of options available to commanders.
